Collegiate 4-H

             ...the Spirit of a New Generation

     An exciting adventure awaits you in Collegiate 4-H! It provides members with a sense of identity on campus,
     enriches their lives through group projects and recreation, and develops confidence and leadership skills.
     Collegiate 4-H is open to all college students who wish to continue in the 4-H tradition, but need not have been
     involved during their youth. We invite you to explore our opportunities.

Social
     Collegiate 4-H's ability to accomplish many tasks, but always have a good time doing so, is a key to our success.
     Whether we are planning an activity, working on a project, or attending a meeting, you can find Collegiate 4-H'ers
     smiling, laughing, and enjoying themselves. The club provides a common ground for members to get to know each other
     and establish lasting friendships.
Youth Development
     Collegiate 4-H is a way to give something back to the 4-H program. We are interested in youth of today and work
     closely with them. Workshops are developed by our members and presented during conferences. Continuing to help to
     develop the leaders of tomorrow is one of our main goals.
Community Service
     Collegiate 4-H is a service oriented group. We realize that the world we live in is always in need of a helping hand.
     Collegiate 4-H is there to provide assistance whenever possible. We have helped with food drives and several other
     service projects. Being a compassionate and caring citizen is a large part of being a Collegiate 4-H member.
Public Relations
     Collegiate 4-H tries to promote the 4-H organization whenever possible. We work on cleaning up any misperceptions
     the public may have about 4-H. One way we work to inform the public about 4-H is by playing a vital role at the annual

     4-H Day festivities at the University of Illinois and organizing our Ultimate Adventure, a conference for current 4-Hers.
