David Koechle showed Skirvin, Otterbacher, and McPheeters his family vineyard near Nauvoo. This vineyard covers 20 acres and parts of it were planted in 1908. Koechle grows a number of varieties, including 'Concord', 'Dago', 'Fredonia', and 'Niagara'. The majority of the crop is sold as juice.
