Does your ATI Mach 32 VLB video adapter have a timing bug

You may have an ATI with the hardware timing error. To check for this:

1. go to the Mach32 sub-dir., or wherever you have the ATI programs

2. at a prompt, type "test /i"

The number you care about is the ASIC revision:

• if it's 0, then ATI's drivers won't work very well
• numbers above 6 are the fixed card
• numbers between 1 and 6 are iffy (as far as I know -- I'm not a total expert -- I had a "0" card).
